7. Because kits are composed of check out items, check out item IDs are
added to the kit. At the Item ID field, scan an item # bar code that you
want to add to the kit, or enter it into the Item ID field via the portable
keypad.

Scan an item ID or enter the item ID via the portable keypad.
If you enter the item number or item ID via the portable keypad, use,
tap the + button in the Item ID field to add the item to the Kit Item ID.
8. When you scan or enter an item number in the Item ID field to add it to
the kit, and the item number contains more than one item ID, the Select
Item screen appears.
