IntelliTrack WMS v8.1

Information for Current WMS Users

If you are new to IntelliTrack WMS, skip ahead to the next section “Pre-

Installation Considerations” on page 4.

If you currently use IntelliTrack WMS v5.2 or higher and are upgrading to

v8.x, please refer to “

Pre-Installation Process when Upgrading” on page 2

and “

Data” on page 2.

Pre-Installation Process when Upgrading

If installing an upgrade, the previous version of WMS Workstation Appli-

cation MUST BE REMOVED from your system BEFORE installing the

new software.

Before you remove the previous version from your system, create a backup

copy of your database. You may back up your SQL Server database by

using Enterprise Manager or the IntelliTrack batch utility, backup.bat found

32-bit and 64-bit: Windows Vista Home Pre-
