Batch Utility Preferences

To rename a selection from the Common Title column, enter the

desired change in the appropriate Language column (i.e., the column

that represents your system language selection).

2. When you are finished, click the Save button to save your changes and

close the form.

3. In order for the change to update in the CE Client application on the

portable device, send the language setting changes to the device. To ini-

tiate a data sync, click CE Portable > Send Data. The Send Portable

Data form appears. (For more information about sending data to the

handheld device, please refer to

“Sending Data to the Handheld Device”

on page 76.)

4. Re-open the CE Client application on the handheld device. The lan-

guage settings should now be implemented.

Customizing a Message Selection

CE Client application messages may be customized. The message selec-

tions are customized from the Language Settings form for Messages.

Select Language > CE Batch Portable > Messages: A form appears that

displays application generated messages that are available for customizing.
